I’m going to see my doctor next week to see if I can be put on a lower dose of my preventative asthma medication. I’ve always been paranoid that my medicine has had something to do with my weight. The problems with my asthma and weight gain happened at the same time. Asthma medication has low doses of steroids that have a different affect on people than large quantities. I haven&amp;#8217;t done the 30 Day Shred today but I&amp;#8217;m going to get up tomorrow and kill it. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;This is a big part of this weight loss journey that I need to learn. Sometimes things do actually happen. I usually beat myself up about it so bad that I just quit all together.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This isn&amp;#8217;t the end of the world.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I do wish I had some fitness buddies, though. Holy crap!&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Ok, so i’ve figured out that I need to work out first thing in the morning. I waited until after my first class and it was hard to talk myself into starting the workout. It’s not that I didn’t feel up for the workout. I’ve been feeling great! The soreness went away and now I just feel strong. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Also, today is one week from the last time I weighed myself and I was at 198. I really want to lose about 2 pounds a week and … drumroll….. I’m at 196! Woohoo!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Do any of you know if there are rest days in the 30 Day Shred? I’ve googled it and it sounds 50/50 for 5 on and 1 off. I’m so sore but somehow I managed to do more of the reps than yesterday. I really hate/love the squat punch move. After hearing Jillian say the same thing for 3 days straight, I can focus more on the pain i’m in. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I’m excited and nervous about day 4. I know I can do it but It’s time to start maintaining a regular life and exercise.
